Refund & Cancellation Policy – TourDeOoty


At TourDeOoty, we want our guests to book with confidence. We understand plans may change, but we also need to protect hotel and cab bookings that are confirmed in advance. This policy keeps it fair for both sides – the earlier you cancel, the more refund you receive.

Advance Payment

  • To confirm any package, you pay 30% advance of the total package price.
  • The remaining balance is paid at the start of the trip (hotel check-in or cab pickup).

Refund & Cancellation Rules

Refunds are calculated on the total package price. If only advance is paid, the refund will not exceed the advance amount.

Cancellation Time Refund Example: ₹10,000 Package Notes
15 days before travel 100% refund ₹10,000 (if full paid) OR full advance ₹3,000 Full refund, no deductions
10–14 days before travel 90% refund ₹9,000 (if full paid) OR ₹2,000 from advance (₹1,000 kept) Deduction covers booking costs
5–9 days before travel 70% refund ₹7,000 (if full paid) OR advance kept (₹3,000) ⚠️ In unavoidable emergencies (medical, family), we may return up to ₹1,500 as goodwill.
2–4 days before travel No refund Full payment or advance kept ⚠️ As goodwill, we may allow a date change (only off-season, subject to availability).
1 day before travel / No-show No refund, no date change No refund Final and strict

Last-Minute Bookings

If you book a package within 4 days of travel, it is non-refundable because hotels and cabs are confirmed instantly.

Important Notes

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days.
  • Refunds are issued to the same payment method used at booking.
  • Hotel, cab, or activity costs that are non-refundable by vendors will be deducted.
  • No refunds for partially used services (e.g., if a guest skips a day’s sightseeing).
